Leonard William Roddis lived at 26 Terrapin Road, Tooting Bec Common and was a student at Alleyn’s until 1908. He joined the war effort in August 1914 as part of the Royal Fusiliers and served overseas on the Western Front as a Private. In February 1916, he was serving in France when he was killed in action near Berles au Bois on February 21st 1916. He is buried at Douchy-les-Ayette.
